There is a fine line to it though.. the artist needs to balance because if lets say you use a camera phone with 8mp of course with no real lense and what not you aren't going to have the same impact. Another example would be MS Paint vs Adobe Photoshop.. of course the MS Paint guy will love to know that you use Photoshop. But then to get into stupid things like what wacom and size you use then it's like shut up and make your own choices.

Exactly, and the same thing applies to photography. I remember the last time someone looked at a photo of mine and said, "Wow, I wish I had a camera like yours." I replied, "Yeah, and I wish I had a piano like Beethoven's."

I had the M-Audio Trigger Finger thinking it would be amazing while DJing.. I never used it really and I didn't like the sensitivity.. felt random from day to day. I sold it.. I have the Korg nanoPad it's more of the same but better because of the price and how small it is. I try not to get lost in equipment.. because they are just tools to whats more important :)

My friend used to have an MPD24, and judging by how long my friend kept it, it was probably due for an update. The one and only reason he got rid of it was how low the sensitivity of the pads were. I felt like I had to hit them with a hammer to get any sound out of his speakers.
