Interesting idea for an album cover. When you open it.. it breaks a seal of an ink pack and therefore every album cover will be different. People are saying that this is an interactive album cover, I don’t think so. If you want a interactive album cover check out Moldover’s album (yeah same dude with the Mojo controller). Pretty cool I must admit but ugly. Intense video/movie about the font called Helvetica. I’m sure you have it on your Pc/Mac. This video gives you a inside look on where the font came from, examples how it first started to get use to today’s uses and as well a lot of opinions from artists. *Hope you had a safe and good New Year! One thing I would like to mention that this past month I have been posting almost every couple of days which this year will be more of one or twice a week. Why? I need to focus my time more on my projects instead of blog posts. You know the more important things.
I absolutely love Molton Brown. I’m not sure where I heard of them I think it was from a magazing a couple years back now. I think their print design is top notch. It’s simple and gets it right. The pictures don’t do them any justice though, they look better in person. You can buy/learn more about them here. Over the past month or so I have been getting things done I been meaning to do for quite a while but have been putting off doing for no reason. Right now I’m close of organizing 8+ years worth of files. While I was going through some of my graphics I’ve done I found all these music icons I made for my songs while I was using Jeskola Buzz and thought it would be cool to share them again.  Soulfrost music icons I made from my Jeskola Buzz days.
Rez HD is one of my favorite games of all time. It was originally released on the Dreamcast and the game was ported to PS2 as well. The game is a on-rail shooter which is very familar to Star Fox 64 single player. Combine that gameplay with trippy visuals, cool themes and electronic dance music and we have a winner. I didn’t truly get to enjoy this game until it was remade into HD and released on Xbox Live where I finally bought a copy. I think a lot people don’t know about this game and its a shame as it’s one of the better ones out there. I highly recommend it.
Finally I have dealt with the issues of my past sites with my new epic site. Solid design, clean code and stupid things like icon for the address bar. I’ve spent the last few days slaving away at this and it has paid off. One thing I want to point out is my new music player that is on the right. Check it. I don’t want to see another thing about html, css etc for a long time. |
