Whoa.. what the hell? where did this electronic instrument come from? how awesome.. I want one! You know thinking about it, it’s not that crazy with electronic drums around but Mr. Jetdaisuke once again makes this item/instrument look amazing. Like I said I don’t know any Japanese but this guy is awesome. Here is some product details.

I absolutely love Molton Brown. I’m not sure where I heard of them I think it was from a magazing a couple years back now. I think their print design is top notch. It’s simple and gets it right. The pictures don’t do them any justice though, they look better in person. You can buy/learn more about them here.

Photos by Fritz Tolentino
I did a post on Fritz work early in the year but my website has changed quite a bit since then. But honestly I just wanted to post that picture of the old guy. Reminds me of Duke Nukem.. ready to kick your ass and he’s still out of bubblegum.
Check out his design and photography portfolio here or on flickr showcasing a lot more photography.

Blockfish VSTs
I wish I had a chance to really use these VSTs but I’m using a Intel Mac for my audio productions now and these VSTs stop being updated before Intel Macs , so they don’t work. If you are on a PC or PowerMac your in luck to give these guys a go they have a unique warm sound to them and they are free. I was bugging them about getting it to work on Intel macs and the story goes that they guy that programmed these VSTs got a job for some audio music program and in the contract is not allowed to work on anything else.
Get the blockfish here. Have fun.

Basement Jaxx's Zephyr album artwork
Basement Jaxx recently released their 5th album ‘Scars’ but are coming out with fairly long EP called ‘Zephyr’ that features material more for the mind than your feet. I can honestly say that I dig Zephyr over Scars. There is something about Scars that sounds forced to me but I don’t feel the same with Zephyr. Looking forward to getting a copy. Release date is this December 7th in the UK and no word of North American date.
You can get the tracklisting and previews of the songs at Juno Records
